The Macro Shortcuts plug-in extends Manila's built-in shortcut behaviour by allowing Managing Editors of a website to create and delete shortcuts to macros. Contributing Editors can see a listing of current Macro Shortcuts.
How to enable Macro Shortcuts
You can enable and disable plug-ins by going to Editors Only > Prefs > Plug-ins.
Check the box next to macroShortcuts. Your plug-ins page will look something like this:
Click the Submit button. You should now see a macroShortcuts item in your Editors Only menu.
How to use Macro Shortcuts
To delete Macro Shortcuts, click on the checkbox next to the Macro Shortcuts you want to delete. Click the "Delete" button after the current Macro Shortcuts list.
To add a Macro Shortcut enter the name and macro in the Add a new macro shortcut form. Click the "Add New Macro Shortcut" button.
Notes
If you try to create a Macro Shortcut to a non-legal macro, the Macro Shortcut will not be created and there will be no user feedback.
